I have received my bean pot a week ago and made my first batch of beans today. The pot itself performed very well and I no complaints concerning how it worked. My only gripe is that that it is made in China. Personally I have nothing against the China but this should be an AMERICAN made product. This is the only reason that I do not give 5 stars.

Cracked on first use despite applying only low heat on the stove top. May work fine in the oven but I won't buy another to find out.

Need to redesign the top grab knob.
I could not grab it with a pot holder.
Now I whish for a different model.
